We are inviting applications for the position of Marketing Executive!
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the Business Unit’s sales, Marketing and Business Development programs for the achievement of gross profit and defined marketing objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development and sales to ensure brand alignment and integration across all touchpoints.
• Establishing and nurturing brand relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, partners and suppliers to ensure effective execution of brand initiatives.
• Developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, including brand positioning and target audience identification.
• Defining and communicating guidelines and ensuring consistent brand messaging and visuals across all marketing and communication channels.
• Overseeing the implementation of brand campaigns, advertising initiatives and marketing programs to drive brand awareness, engagement and loyalty.
• Developing and monitoring sales, gross profit forecasts and marketing budgets for appointed brands.
• Monitoring and analyzing brand performance, including market share, brand equity and developing strategies to enhance brand performance.
• Ensuring appropriate stocking of appointed brands and monitoring of expiry dates on hand to implement prompt and pro-active initiatives to reduce losses and maximize profitability.
• Implementing both proactive and reactive trade and marketing initiatives to exceed brand/product goals.
• Cultivating trade promotional programs which ensures that products sell on shelf and on trade.
• Establishing channel strategies along with executing associated plans.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, consumer behaviour and emerging branding practices to bring innovative ideas and best practices to the organization.
• Preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly sales and gross profit reports for appointed brands.
• Evaluating brands to ensure all business opportunities are being maximized.
• Monitoring, analyzing and recommending product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy for appointed brands.
• Providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity, engagement, and employee development.
• Ensuring product distribution objectives on product quality and availability are being met.
Position Requirements:
• Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, or related field with a minimum of five (5) years related working experience.
• Proven experience in brand management, with a track record of successfully developing and executing brand strategies.
• Must own a vehicle in good working condition.
